Rod returns are based on total number of anglers fishing and total number of fish caught per week
Rod returns last week, to 16h November, 2.2 fish per rod with the majority of anglers fishing on four hour tickets.  Average fishing time of 5hours per angler.
Best  four fish ticket last week to Mr McCain total weight 11lbs 14ozs,  four limit tickets of eight fish and five fish over 4lbs

Total fish caught this season, from Sept. 27th, 1510, Total anglers 670, average rod return 2.25 fish
Stocking will be be at least weekly throughout the winter, 100 stocked last week. Fished stocked to date 1250, 716 fish killed to date

Best methods black, black and green, orange or white  fished  with intermediate or floating lines with fish generally around mid water . Fish are often to be found close in to banks and following flies right up to surface. Nymphs, such as daiwl bachs or buzzers also worth trying

Please ensure all returns, including nil returns, are filled in when you leave with numbers killed and numbers released. These returns are essential for correct stocking levels in order to give all anglers a sporting chance of catching fish.
We regret that any angler consistently not leaving returns may be banned from fishing

Matt Young aged 16  17lb 8oz Common carp Sunday 12th October.
Method feeder with Mainline active8 fresh boilies + yellow artificial corn on hair rig

John McFarlane, 12 year old, with 20lb carp from Rib Lake on 8th November. Bait used, strawberry flavour Monster Corn, on braid hair rig size 10

WESTMILL  LAKE now open for fishing again
Open all year.

Work on Westmill lake is now completed including the stocking of large quantities of fish from Millennium Lake.
